Base64 Guide

Text Conversion

1. Select the "Text" tab.

2. Enter your text in the top box.

3. Click "Encode" to get the Base64 string, or enter Base64 in the bottom box and click "Decode".

Image Conversion

1. Select the "Image" tab.

2. Drag and drop an image or click to upload.

3. Copy the resulting Data URI (e.g. data:image/png;base64,...) for use in HTML or CSS.

Important Notes

• Text encoding uses UTF-8.
• Large images may cause the browser to freeze slightly during conversion.
• Data URIs increase file size by approximately 33% compared to binary files.
